On the Homefront

Russell and I had the blessing of traveling to three national parks last month: Sequoia, King's Canyon, and Pinnacles. And yes, that's snow in front of those giant sequoias. We're up to nineteen national parks. Only 44 to go.

On My Desk

I'm researching for the next book of the Kingswell Kid Detective series. Book 1, The Mystery of the Missing Falls, releases in August. Book 4 takes place at a summer STEAM camp, so I'm reading up on robotics and AI. The spiritual emphasis for this one touches on how to know truth in a confusing world. I've been wanting to write a murder mystery and this is it.

I'm also working on a picture book series of tall tales and a MG historical fiction.

The Texas Home School Convention runs May 28-30th in the Houston area. Jen and I are speaking on Raising Kids Who Know God: Real Faith in the Elementary Years. We also have a booth in the authors' section. Come say hello if you're attending!
